Bobby Makar has lived in Streetsboro, Ohio with his parents for 23 years. He works as aprouce clerk at a grocery store in Streetsboro, which he despises. Many days are spent at the grocery store eating over-ripe bananas, wishing he could spit in a customer's face and playing hop-scotch with his id... In addition to this gig, he also works as a producton assistant/associate producer at Kent State TeleProductions, a job he deeply loves.
Despite his bottom-rung-dwelling-minion status on the corporate ladder, Bobby is a passionate, dedicated and hard working young man. His main goal in life is to be a great film maker, not a wealthy film maker, not a famous film maker, just a great film maker. Bobby has written, directed, produced, edited, acted in, paid for, cast, catered, has done make-up for, operated camera, lit, designed and built graphics for and just plain gave everything he could to several movie related projects and efforts, most notably: "Everything Is Anna" (writer, drector, producer, actor, post-production over-seer, head hancho), "The Band Is Breaking Up!" (writer, producer, actor, graphic designer, post-production assistant, marketeer) and "Death Pulp" (Did a whole lot. A WHOLE LOT...) There are others worth mentioning that he holds dear and is very proud of, but would have to empty his spit valve before tooting his own horn any longer...
Bobby was the singer and rhythm guitarist in the short-lived, but promising, Kent based Blues-Metal Band, Slander, and guitarist in Dirty Circus, an award winning band he had with his two best friends (they got second place in their High School talent show, losing to a girl who sang to a Martina McBride recording and later became a stripper...).
Bobby attributes every idea, belief and hope he has in anything to his life long passion for comic books. They have taught him most of what he knows about life, film making, illustrating, writing and comprise most of who he is.
Bobby wishes to marry his girlfriend, June, live in Chicago and make films for the rest of his life. Unti then, he will continue working in the produce department and fighting for a break.

I've decided to write in this blog about the exciting and frightening experiences of a young lad on the brink of graduating, after five years of college, in August and the angst that comes with a Bachelor's Degre…
